Mireille Gallegos Web Developer
Web Developer Mireille (pronounced “Mee-Ray”) Gallegos came to Rebel after nearly a decade as a front-end developer at an agency. Her work spanned from landing pages to university sites and everything in between.
A hallmark of Mireille’s approach to… well, everything is that she’s not afraid to take non-traditional paths to reach her goals. For example, during the pandemic, she created a new Halloween tradition: “reverse trick or treating,” in which she made gift boxes of candy and left them on the doorsteps of friends and family.
An accomplished, fearless traveler, she has stood on a volcano in Guatemala, explored Machu Picchu in Peru, studied abroad in Chile during the country’s bicentennial, and spent two weeks in Japan, traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto during their famed cherry blossom season.
When she’s not taking unique approaches to development challenges, Mireille enjoys cooking, watching movies with her family, volunteering at her church’s food pantry, attending film festivals and local theater productions, browsing at craft fairs and tag sales, playing video games (don’t be surprised to see her at the occasional video game convention wearing a Mario hat), and wages what she calls “a never-ending battle against laundry.”
